Social Media Marketing in the Cayman Islands

Social Media Marketing in the Cayman Islands

Social media and digital marketing is a struggle that is well known to business owners across the board. It’s that additional department or item on your “To Do” list that tugs away at you on a daily basis. With so many operational responsibilities and non-negotiable’s that absolutely NEED to get done each and every day; it can be difficult to make time to learn the must haves when it comes to social media and digital marketing.

So what do you do to keep up with this very important aspect of your business?

Here’s the the breakdown…every business is becoming digital in 2018 or you simply won’t survive. Of course there are the outliers that function solely on referrals and word of mouth… and this is great, but how far can that really get you moving forward? And we’re not here to be Debbie Downers but the reality is, social media platforms are free tools that millions of people use to interact and become exposed to new services, products, customers, and clients. However, it is just as easy to tarnish your brand as it is to build it up exponentially.

Dedicating your time or hiring a specialist can make all the difference in using social media and digital marketing as tools to help your brand succeed. It’s crucial in this day in age, as a business owner, to project a cohesive, professional, and trusted brand/business to your audience.

Consumers judge the visual representations of your business within seconds, and if in those seconds you do not educate, inform, and spark interest you will continuously be ignored. So keep in mind to use clear, crisp, professional graphics to promote your brand. It’s important not to look outdated as people may interpret your business as fake or even untrustworthy.

We have faith that you will take the following tips in mind to help your business grow a professional and uniform online presence.

  • Stay consistent in the look and feel of your posts.
  • Use professional photography where possible, especially for Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc.
  • Align your social media posts with your website by always linking to your site on each post for easy access. (Don’t forget to maintain the same color scheme #aesthetic is key).
  • Don’t skip the hashtags, choose relevant tags and do your research on which tags are gaining popularity.
  • Interact with your audience, or the demographic you are targeting. Add them on Twitter, Linked in, Instagram, etc. and talk to them! See what they like or don’t like. Get to know them and build relationships with your potential customers as you would in person.

And last but not least, remember to be sociable on social media, and go the extra mile with your online customers as you would with your “in person” customers.

It WILL make all the difference!

Sincerely,

Infinity Consulting
